Kwara Health Tech Hostels Near Completion as State Prioritizes Student Welfare

The construction of new student hostels at the Kwara State College of Health Technology is approaching completion. The modern facilities, already roofed, are set to be handed over to the school management soon, replacing the old, dilapidated hostels previously in use.

The project reflects the commitment of the Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, to improving the welfare of students across state-owned institutions. The administration has consistently prioritized the creation of a safe and conducive environment for learning.

According to the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor, Olayinka Fafoluyi, the abandoned and deteriorating hostels were among several decaying infrastructures inherited from the previous administration. These are now being renovated as part of the government’s wider effort to revamp facilities in educational institutions throughout the state.

Once completed, the new hostels will be fully furnished with key amenities including beds, wardrobes, mattresses, reading tables, and more to ensure students enjoy both comfort and functionality in their accommodation.
