President Bola Tinubu has extended warm birthday wishes to his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, as he marks his 63rd birthday today, June 25.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, titled “President Tinubu Greets Chief of Staff Gbajabiamila on His Birthday”, Tinubu praised Gbajabiamila’s dedication to public service and his contributions to Nigeria’s democratic journey.
The President lauded the former Speaker’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, urging him to continue supporting efforts to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
“President Tinubu encourages his Chief of Staff to sustain his efforts in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at improving the nation’s economic fortunes and overall development,” the statement read in part.
Gbajabiamila, a trained lawyer, represented Surulere Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2023. Over six consecutive terms, he held key leadership positions, including Minority Leader, Majority Leader, and eventually Speaker from 2019 to 2023.
President Tinubu also commended Gbajabiamila’s impactful service to Lagos State, particularly his consistent advocacy for the development of Surulere.
He wished him continued good health and a long, fulfilling life.
