The National Association of Osun State Students (NAOSS) has expressed profound appreciation to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, for donating a bus to the association to ease transportation challenges faced by students across the state and beyond.
According to a statement released by the president of NAOSS, Comrade Lateef Folajimmy Ajibola popularly known as Collabo, described the gesture as a timely intervention that reflects the governor’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of students in Osun State.
According to the students’ body, the donated bus will greatly enhance mobility for official engagements, academic programmes, conferences, and other activities involving members of the association. noted that transportation has remained one of the major challenges confronting students, especially during inter-campus activities and state functions.
NAOSS praised Governor Adeleke for consistently demonstrating support for education and youth empowerment, adding that the donation serves as encouragement for students to remain focused on their academic pursuits.
The association further pledged its continued cooperation with the state government and assured the governor that the bus would be properly maintained and used responsibly for the benefit of Osun students.
The student body concluded by praying for wisdom and strength for Governor Adeleke as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
