The Hope for Humanity Initiative (HHI) has launched the maiden edition of its 2026 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) scholarship for selected students from Ara town.
The scholarship programme is aimed at promoting education within the community by supporting students seeking admission into higher institutions. It forms part of the foundation’s broader effort to expand access to education and encourage academic excellence among young people.
Speaking on the initiative, the President of the foundation, Hon Akintayo Oyegoke, said the programme reflects HHI’s strong commitment to education and youth development, which aligns with the core objectives of the organisation.
“Hope for Humanity Initiative remains steadfast in its belief that all students, irrespective of their background, should have access to educational opportunities,” Oyegoke stated.
He explained that the 2026 JAMB scholarship builds on the foundation’s earlier interventions, including the distribution of exercise books to secondary school students in Ara and the extension of educational support programmes to indigent students in tertiary institutions.
Interested applicants have been advised to visit the Secretariat of the Ara National Students’ Association or contact the president for further information on the application process.
Since its establishment, the Hope for Humanity Initiative has continued to invest in educational programmes aimed at developing human capital and supporting academic excellence.
