FILSU Celebrates Osun Governor’s Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, on Birthday
The Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union (FILSU), National Headquarters, has joined family members, friends and political associates in celebrating the birthday of Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Spokesperson to the Governor of Osun State.
In a congratulatory message signed by the FILSU 2026 Global President, Ibrahim Adijat Morayo, the union described Mallam Rasheed as a “shining light” and a dependable mentor who has consistently supported and guided indigenous students of Iwoland.
According to the union, Mallam Rasheed has earned widespread respect for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Iwo students. FILSU noted that he has remained a bridge-builder, always keeping his doors open to the union’s leadership for advice, encouragement, and meaningful support.
“His investment in the intellectual and social development of Iwo indigenes clearly reflects his deep love for his roots. He is not just a leader; he is a beacon of hope for every student striving for excellence,” the statement read.
FILSU also commended Mallam Rasheed’s professional competence in his role as Spokesperson to Governor Ademola Adeleke, acknowledging his efforts in strengthening the public image of the Osun State Government through transparency and timely dissemination of information.
As he marks another year, the entire student of Iwo offered prayers for his continued good health, wisdom, and greater achievements. The union added that Mallam Rasheed’s rise from a seasoned journalist to a key government official remains a source of inspiration to young Iwo indigenes who aspire to attain leadership positions through hard work, dedication, and integrity.
