Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated his Special Adviser on Education, Dr. Adetola Salau, on her recent appointment as Special Adviser on STEMM and Corporate Sector Engagement to the Honourable Minister of Education.
STEMM refers to Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the Governor described Dr. Salau’s federal appointment as a testament to her unwavering commitment to education and her significant contributions to the promotion of STEM learning in Nigeria and beyond.
“We are proud of her modest but impactful contributions to the educational reforms in Kwara, particularly in advancing STEM education. Her energy, expertise, and team spirit have been invaluable,” Governor AbdulRazaq stated.
He expressed confidence that Dr. Salau would excel in her new national role and reaffirmed the state’s commitment to continued collaboration with her.
“Though she is transitioning to the Federal Ministry of Education, we look forward to maintaining strong engagement with her as a leading voice in STEM education,” the Governor added.
Dr. Salau, a native of Kwara State, held a cabinet-level role in the state government prior to her new federal assignment.
