President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to visit Kano today to offer condolences to the government and people of the state, as well as the family of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a revered elder statesman, accomplished businessman, and philanthropist.
The visit was confirmed in a statement issued on Thursday by the spokesperson to the Kano State Governor, Sunusi Bature. According to the statement, Tinubu’s visit is a gesture of national solidarity and a tribute to the enduring legacy of the late industrialist.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has urged residents to receive the President with warmth and decorum, in keeping with Kano’s tradition of hospitality and reverence for leadership.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata recently passed away, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of service, philanthropy, and economic development that touched many lives across Nigeria.
Authorities have assured that security and logistical measures are fully in place to ensure a peaceful and dignified presidential visit.
